SOLD!

Newly refinished mission style coffee table with lift out top and storage.  This was my first time using Martha S. glaze and I really enjoy the result.  Expresso stain top.

What do you use over the stain to make the top shiney?

It's a stain and poly in one. Expresso color. Three coats on that piece in particular.

Hi Melissa,

I'm the lucky individual who purchased this beautiful coffee table! If you happen to see come upon an end table in a similar style and wouldn't mind refurbish to coordinate, I'd definitely purchase it. I haven't been able to find anything I love quite as much to match.

Thanks!

Hi Sarah,
Let me just tell you thank you so much for your appreciation. Some people do not understand what a labor of love it is to find a piece that has good potential and bring that out. Your comments really made my day. As you stated it is hard to find pieces to match mostly because they are one of a kind by the time I am done with it. I do happen to have a similar end table, good bones, with a unique little hidden compartment in it. It is not exactly the same but the lines fit and once I paint to match I think you will really enjoy it. I will send along some pictures so you can take a look and let me know what you think. Again, thanks so much for your kind words. You can email me directly at Dayshamb@aol.com and then I will send the pictures to you. Have a great weekend. Melissa
