New and random

The 7 layers of hell.
 

Working on a custom piece and after 7 layers of stain/poly I had to completely start the top all over. I couldn't strip it though so I sanded through all those layers. Grrrr..... The stupid AZ heat is cutting into my work, all the rest is done. Picked up two new end tables that I can't wait to work on when the heat subsides. Took a family trip to CA for Disneyland and Newport Beach. Now I need a "grown up" vacation.  My son turned 3 yesterday and we are celebrating today. Random, random. Have a great weekend!

What I am working on lately

 

I haven't been able to finish to many pieces because of the heat and humidity here in AZ. Heat I'm used to humidity NO. So I always seem to second guess my judgement. Which my husband doesn't help with at all. This time I think this set is going to make some special girl very happy. I smile just looking at all that glitter.
